First, the hardware:
The Lumia 630 fits comfortably in your hand and looks despite the plastic housing quite high. Although I was skeptical whether I would be the size (my HTC 8s was much smaller) but thanks to the rounded housing I could get used to it quickly. The weight is OK, I find it in your pocket on barely.
The installed processor is sufficiently potent for the already frugal WP8.1. Long load times are not an issue, and the OS can be operated smoothly and fast always. However, this is in any case WP typical, even on weaker hardware running Windows Phone stable and liquid.
The RAM is also sufficient, and has never overwhelmed.
For camera: Judging by the PureView Super cameras of higher Nokia Series Camera is crap. In terms of direct competition in the entry-level and mid-range of other providers it is OK to good. I hardly use the camera but, except for occasional snapshots when I want to take pictures, I use a compact or system camera. If the camera my focus, I would have bought a 925 or 930, or even the 1020. A hardware trigger is missing, as is the LED flash. Short: Photography is not the strength of the Lumia 630, but that's me personally could not care less. Who it emphasis should watch the 930.
For memory: THANK Microsoft! One annoyance of WP8 was that the MicroSD card could not be used for apps, since WP8.1 as that. My HTC 8s with only 4GB memory was therefore chronically overfull, despite MicroSD card, the Lumia 630 almost empty. I use the internal memory for the OS and a few apps, the rest is on the MicroSD and because I have plenty of space with 32GB. In short, lack of memory no longer knows my Lumia!
The battery lasts loosely with 2 days unless I play around a lot, which I do not in everyday life.
The display is bright and sharp, though far from full HD, but I do not expect in this price range. Readability in daylight is very good.
Now the software
WP8.1 is the logical evolution of Windows Phone 8. New is the familiar iOS and Adroid Message Bar, and a Quick Setup menu, both of which are very convenient and easier to operate, but not innovative. Regardless of evolution precisely.
Otherwise, Windows Phone 8.1 is fast and fluid as usual, the Appangebot is sufficiently large and growing rapidly.
The Nokia apps are very well done and extend the OS valuable goodies like free global navigation with Offline Maps.
For the price Nokia is here a masterpiece succeeded as much function and power to so little money you are looking for even with Android vain. Alone the Navi software turns cell phones into Preisbrecher, as measured by the price thus despite weak camera, the 5 star in any case justified.
