Einhell BT-US 240 Bench grinder

I purpose of turning tool sharpening a grinding machine used and got myself in the hardware store with the two "o" in the name of the BT-US 240.
First, the device was there well priced very ambitious with 79.99 and secondly .... scrap!

Unpacking, setting up, switch it on.

But before turning Einhell has packed the assembly of the stopping angle and protective glass. Only ... the installation of stop angle on the grinding wheel designed to be extremely difficult, because the enclosed screws - due to the shape of the protective housing of the disc - simply are too short! (Unless you let one of the washers away)

After all parts were cultivated performed the first power-up! Behold, the grinding wheel rotates, the belt rotates - but not for long! The band travels immediately to the lateral stop and brings the machine to a standstill. (!!!)
Well, I wanted to really grind a turning tool, the tape guide I can adjust later - thus first removed band powered machine - short strumming, then the machine blocked abruptly !!!
Under the drive pulley for the grinding belt hold three screws the cover firmly. At least she should probably ... one had turned out by the vibrations (was probably already loose) and wedged such with the drive of the grinding belt, the machine stopped.

After removing the screw, it turned out that the drive plate of the sanding belt is well turned out rather "soft" aluminum ... the wobbled follows then that in some kind of work with this equipment was no longer to think. Disassembled machine again, packed, returned!

Now here is a simple Doppelschleifbock - and also lasts!
