Normally I use a hairdryer to my long straight hair to dry a day, now I wanted to try something different to give my hair during drying additional momentum and have gained me the Philips Essential Care Air Styler.
This has 4 different attachments:
, Concentrator: This is the same top as with a normal hairdryer and is basically just to get the hair dry. Drying the hair takes a little longer than with hairdryer, whom it takes too long, which can make the essay also completely gone, so are the hair dry faster, are however not styled.
, Paddle brush: Looks like a normal brush, with which you can brush and blow-dry the hair at the same time. From styling effect happens with straight hair is not much. EVT. You can order volume curly hair, because I did not have this, I can only speculate here.
, Brush with retractable bristles: With this brush you can supposedly can conjure a beautiful curls on the head. The greatest feeling what I managed, were slight waves, perhaps it works better if you used to mousse or more patience when styling has. In my straight hair I could at least no major effect notice and attack therefore prefer to curling iron.
, 38mm thermo brush: This article is for light waves in the hair. Unfortunately that did not work as well in my hair. His hair was even after I have screwed the blow smooth and waves you could only imagine with a lot of imagination. Maybe it works even better here if you use styling mousse, but I wanted to avoid that. This brush also each time were sporadically plucked hair.
The essays can be easily stuck on the hairdryer and raced without problems a. The volume is bearable and can be compared to that of a normal hair dryer. There are 3 different stages, I could not detect any great difference between the 2nd and 3rd stage, the volume of these two stages are identical, the 3rd stage is minimal warmer than the second.
On the whole, I like the Air Styler quite good, however, I am advised by my long straight hair fast to my limits and can therefore unfortunately only awarded 3 stars. I think, however, with thicker and curly hair you could get better results. For shorter hair I could imagine this Airstyler well.
I'll probably use this more only to blow and when I want a styling I pick up the curling iron.
