OK for the price, longevity looks different

After a technician was there today to repair the machine, I have taken this as an opportunity to even write a review, which goes beyond delivery, set up and wash. I bought the machine on 27/09/2011.

Anticipation even a short note to the washing performance:
I can hardly wash performance negative to say, the washing machine washes well, the clothes is then always clean, starting by taking gentle with the laundry to (not as friendly as the Miele honeycomb drum, but also plays in a different league) ,
Negatives can I Only from Eco Plus program report: The energy efficiency class gets the washing machine only by this program, it is sufficient for the label, if a program meets the efficiency conditions. Unfortunately, it reaches the Bauknecht only in that the 60 ° C are not met, according to the technicians. From Eco Plus is therefore unfortunately Hygiene minus. Otherwise you can to the washing performance and the programs but little negative to say, the machine offers a wide range of programs, particularly advantageous I find the delay start, when the machine starts a time delay to wash. Very convenient for working professionals who can hang the clean laundry when coming home at once without these lies before spending hours in the machine.

But now the big drawback:
The machine has unfortunately some vulnerable points, one could also say planned obsolescence to.

According to technicians statement of common defect of the machine is the drum bearing, but which can not be replaced separately but only with the entire drum. Costs after the warranty: about 350. So you should just before warranty end a loud sound as the drum rotates hear you should contact quickly with the customer service contact. In my opinion, it is a joke, a warehouse to build in such a way that it can only be replaced with the entire drum.

One of the other errors of the more common varieties is the pump. Even though I had so far with the drum bearing happiness and no damage has yet occurred, I had bad luck with the pump. After 1 1/2 years, the pump has been in the last few minutes of the program a very unpleasant and loud whistling on its own, so that they had to be exchanged. Fortunately this error is still occurred during the warranty period. A personal negligence by foreign bodies in the pump is the way before not.

The two most common defects revealed further weaknesses also are added, such as a broken plastic part, by the porthole no longer suggests (was criticized already in another review).

The washing machine is actually very loud, but these are the most in this price range.

All in all I would recommend the machine only for people who wash either little or no washing machine for an extended period (by which I mean 5-10 years) want. The technician said the lifetime of the machine is on average between 3 to 5 years.

So if you are looking for something longer term, should rather look in a different price segment and buy a Bosch, Siemens or Miele machine. For the occasion washer (single or couple) but the Bauknecht tuts well. One must not only have a long life expectancy to the machine.
