18-55mm kit lens:
This is supposed to be not so great, but the results are still attainable considerable. Test way I zoom always compueter to 400% (1 image pixel is to monitor 4x4 pixels) and watch a few fine lines on the image. The kit lens can not represent 2-pixel-wide lines amazingly clean.
So there you can with sure yet due Lens Upgrade certainly leave some time.
Camera (Photo):
DRO mode: The dynamic range is expanded back down, so that dark parts do not lose their structure. My default mode.
HDR mode: The trigger button triggers 3 sequential shots (lasts Result: The HDR mode works well, exactly as advertised, and there in the HDR mode automatically always an untreated normal exposed image is saved as a separate file, you can of always convinced of the efficacy of the HDR mode by AB comparison, and has always been the untreated picture available if the HDR version do not like. (Because of the sequential image capture sequence must the scene to be quasi-static to prevent ghosting, but water waves at wind on the lake are to the effect entirely uncritical.)
Camera (film):
some photo-film-vans take the data sheet in AVCHD 50i on, but in there wrapped are only 25p, which just come up out of the sensor, with all the disadvantages such as non-smooth motion and rolling shutter distortion when panning.
The Nex7 takes on real 50i as normal AVCHD camcorder. (50p at 1920x1080 can bargain in entsprechedem memory card space consumption. This top feature, there are still very rare at this price.) So there is fluid motion, and the rolling shutter Effkt is so minimal (or non-existent?) that I could not find him visually. But even my real AVCHD Camcorder Canon HF100 on in the dark of 50i to 25p in order, (to double the exposure time). The Sony Nex7 has this unnecessary, it remains at 50i in the dark, with fluid movements and still less noise at more color accuracy in the dark as the dedicated AVCHD camcorder HF100.
In daylight the film sharpness of Nex7 is at least as good as the HF100. Have AB comparisons under the same test conditions held made with legibility of small print in the video.
The HF100 is also not particularly weitwinkelig, the contrast 18-55mm kit lens Nex7 already. It is also good video-capable when it comes to noise at focusing and zooming. When shooting outdoors it is not audible.
Similarly film end cameras often have problems with the focus pump is regulated to wherever around the best focus point, not as the Nex7. You can find the point of focus quickly and keeps it stable without pumping. Anything else would be a no-go.
The Focus is on large-format sensors natural lower than in kleinchippigen camcorders, but by ab aperture to F8 or 11 there are again reasonable depth of field. And some may even limited depths (un) sharpness.
Conclusion: It's finally here, that no (quality) more compromises have to take if you want to carry around unites photography and film in a single device.
Priced: Yes it is too high, but the Panasonic GH2 is still similarly priced, with poorer specs, and by waiting and searching can probably save even> 100 Euro, ultimately, the costs compensated by a long period of use (from 2010!) (the useful life depends of course from the holidays country and unfortunately the behavior practiced there from (this remark has real terms)).
