So I waited for a bigger battery since the purchase of the I9100. The announcement of this same came with an additional surprise: The battery is thicker (was here already mentioned several times) and there is accordingly a new cover needed.
Exactly this made me still greedy for the battery, he straightened, but the back of the unit, eliminating the inconvenience of my opinion hill at the bottom of the device.
The long wait, due to the poor availability has become totally worth it!
The cover fits so well into the overall picture that you like some of the previous speakers have already done it would like to express the suspicion that it should be from the outset so really and you have aimed at Samsung only on presenting the thinnest smartphone.
Taken in bullet points does my impression as follows:
+ More power is equivalent to specifying. The day is (3D games + emails or 1-2 hours directly + more than 1 hour calls etc.) with Heavy Usage now absolutely no problem to survive. Who says it would create more than 1 day "tricking" I think with Custom Roms, various fuel-saving apps etc. rum. (Ie 1 day with original firmware and without reducing apps ... only uncompromising consumption!)
+ The I9100 is pleasant to touch!
+ The hill at the bottom will be eliminated. The smartphone is just on (Levels app?).
+ The camera lens is located at a height within the recess and touched the ground no longer lie down in.
+ At the locations with significant heat generation (eg CPU) is always more space ... the effect is low to non-existent, but it gives a relaxing feeling. ;)
+ - The I9100 is thicker. This is a matter of taste and some may displease. I like it great because I have such a subjective sense of mass (in spite of the small differences in dimensions).
+ - The I9100 is difficult. The measurements of the two batteries with a letter balance resulted in a difference of about 4 grams (the maximum measurement uncertainty of the scale factored, the difference actually displayed varies briefly 2-3 grams). In addition, the cover is securely a few milligrams harder. So who is very sensitive to such differences or to record hunt, which this certainly not like.
- Why not so !? The near-perfect adaptation to the I9100 can as I said pay certain suspicions. Economically, of course, clever: Flat smartphone announce, sell, supply later battery, again rake in money! For me not really a negative point, but it should be mentioned.
All in all, for me the most important accessories for the I9100!
