Customer Review

Philip Le Roy claims that the facts are real and explains in his novel preamble that the meeting had taken place. He was working on another project when Sabbah thriller appeared to her! This mysterious veiled woman briefly touched on a book fair. One can draw a parallel with a crime scene: Sabbah gave him clues to reconstruct everything that happened before sétait crime. And what a crime! He discovered an amazing truth quon insists hiding for centuries. But above all, he stood there heroine which he had long dreamed.

"The Gate of the Messiah" we reveal incredible things on lislam. Sil there has been manipulation, it comes from those who have lied to us for centuries and who lobby to keep buried secret. The handling also sexerce Simon is the heart of a gigantic conspiracy. When asked why have fictionalized? ... He replied that it was to connect all the clues before it and provide as clear a captivating narrative dealing with the impact religion dune on the fate of a man and our history. Romancer also allows to change names, dates and places including his meeting with Sabbah, to ensure the safety of real people involved in the plot.

The author addresses taboo and challenges 1400 years formatting spirits, all in a novel controlled from beginning to end, no downtime.

Simon, the hero of this thriller, is a type quite normal that in a situation that goes beyond and leads us to a frantic pace, touring Europe and the Middle East in search of both their roots and a higher truth ... He wants to know where it came from, who his parents were and what really happened to the door of the Messiah. Who is he really?

Philip Le Roy challenges our certainties in a story based on historical, theological, linguistic, archaeological and literary still little diffused on the origins of the Qur'an and the relationship between Islam and Christianity that takes us by the throat to drop us at the end of breath, alone with our convictions. And doubts ... The end of the novel allows us to glimpse a possible sequel I'm curious about.

At first I thought "Bah! ... The Da Vinci Code Islam !! Still a novel about religion ..." and yet, despite some historical and theological explanation a little heavy for my taste, and epilogue a little weak, I loved to devour in one sitting this novel.

Always my pleasure! 7 Rank: 5/5
