The first serious album of Madonna, in which she sings to her father about her dead mother, her failed marriage or their relationship; for me a very good album!

Highlights: "Like a Prayer", "Express yourself", "Pray for Spanish eyes"

Madonna kraftstrozend and raring to go. With classics like "Express Yourself," "Promise To Try" or "Oh Father". This album has probably produced the most impression for "Ray of Light", with critics and fans.
