I like very much that the unit operates without a fan and no moving parts (hard disk drive). It is noiseless and thanks to SSD hard drive not only fast, but also a little less susceptible to shocks, as laptops with a proper hard drive.
The only flaw is the mouse pad that makes quiet rattling noises when writing. I do not mind further, because you can hear it only in quiet rooms.
In itself, but the multi-touch feature is very handy with which you can easily zoom in on images and PDFs.
Windows 8 is indeed a familiarization (previously worked only with XP) but quite handy. The two windows feature I really like, because just PDFs are displayed very little space.
The screen resolution is perfect for texts. The colors are not as phenomenal but I do not need to read Yes. The size of the font may be a bit of getting used to if you only large screens with a larger font is used to. But that can be Yes adjust if necessary.
Battery life:
phenomenal! If one pays a bit on the consumption by turning off the Wi-Fi when it is not in use (there is also a connection within 2 sec restored) and brightness stops at the minimum (still bright enough) keeps the notebook loose the Unitag by approximately 8 or more hours of battery life.
Is that always WLAN and surfing to a lot, the term reduced with me on about 5-6 hours. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
All in all, the notebook is exactly what I was looking for and a good and above all an inexpensive alternative to 4-6 times as expensive MacBooks (which are indeed used by all the students for anything else, how do I use the device).
220 euros well spent!
UPDATE
After about 6 weeks use it happens from time to time that the mouse pad fails. This is annoying, now I carry always an external mouse around with me. The failures have different lengths. Sometimes just for a moment, sometimes for a longer period. If accumulate the failures, I'll send back the device.
