After I installed the previously downloaded Intel driver for the AC 7260 (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, separate driver packages) - the old wireless card was installed -, I switched the radio module.
After restarting the computer (Windows 7 64bit), were both WLAN module, as recognized also Bluetooth or installed the drivers without an error message. WLAN and Bluetooth module are displayed in the Device Manager; WiFi works, Bluetooth does not work!
I run my laptop via a wireless router TP-Link Archer C7 AC 1750. The laptop is within 3 feet away, with no obstructions in between, so optimal conditions.
Speed Test 5.2 GHz network:
I copied a 20 GB, not compressible, video file from A to B and from B to A and so can determine real values: Both the sending and receiving performed with an average speed of about 37 MB / sec (= ca . 300 Mbit / sec), mind payload (!) and not any theoretical values! => I am absolutely satisfied!
Speed Test 2.4 GHz network:
Same procedure as above.
Sending: 15 MB / sec
Receiving: 19.5 MB / sec
