In a fairly affordable device my expectations were once reticent. Little by little, however, has the perspective. After unpacking the device, by its appearance neat points. It's contrary to my expectations a very high-quality impression. We opted for the black oven and this also looks like displayed. In real-maybe even a little nicer ... At the front are made handles, rotary switches and parts of stainless steel cover. Even the rest of the casing is made of stainless steel. Duch, the brushed stainless steel finish here keep fingerprints in check.
In the package there is still a small baking sheet, a baking sheet grippers, a grill, a drain pan, a Drehpieß and a rotisserie-gripper. A detailed German-language instruction manual is one of them.
Before I had the device for the first time really in use, I have 2x let it bake for 15 minutes of idle á. Of though nothing stood in the manual, but it is thereby stripped, has all odors lost. Of course you should also wash everything thoroughly once.
I have already mentioned above the various uses short, here again in detail with my experience:
- Use of hotplates: Both boards can be used simultaneously. They are very hot. The temperature is set at the temperature switch and the hotplate switches are activated. We have so easily cooked pasta and potatoes and warmed dishes.
- Use as oven: With grate or baking sheet. Both together is a bit tight, it is better to use only one. Again, the function switch for a batch is in progress, and set the temperature. When activated and the timer expires, the oven automatically switches off. There is an audible signal, similar to an hourglass. Top and bottom heat can be operated separately. Pizza and cake are possible as long as it is standard cakes and pizzas, which have no "oversize". The oven is visible through the two heating rods super fast hot. Up to 230 ° C are possible, and this temperature it reaches definitely faster than a normal oven.
- Use as barbecue: Actually, the same operation as in baking. If the skewer is inserted, the meat on the spit rotates automatically. Spit two top brackets are mounted, which can be easily removed for cleaning with a rotary screw. We have a chicken grilled with it, which was equal to brown at all points. It was sooo mega delicious !!!
The two handles for baking tray and spit are super practical. Here no oven gloves or similar is required. A big plus point is also available for the drip tray. Dripping oil, grease, etc. accumulates it, instead of dripping onto the floor. The drip tray can be easily removed and cleaned (if necessary in the dishwasher). Especially when the drip tray chicken was a useful accessory, which I appreciated at this moment.
Disadvantages? Due to the stainless steel housing, the device is very hot. You should urgently avoid running Berühungen to the housing.
Conclusion: The "Omnichef 23" of clear stone is small, reliable, fast to operating temperature, may baking, grilling and cooking. He seems to me a lot of useful accessories therefore, has a great modern design and is highly recommended! A cheap purchase that was truly worth it. From me a strong buy recommendation.
