Simple, small packaging that is likely taking into account the eco-idea / claim in this model.
Headphones, combined USB / charging cable / power adapter, headphones with jack adapter, concise instructions (also simple pressure). Software is missing, can be downloaded from the website. All in all a reasonable delivery with regard to the ecological thought, although the simple achromatic Vepackung at first seems strange at a mid-range device. - I think it's good.
Design & Processing (mostly subjective):
Functional, minimalist design. The arrangement of the front button I would have found centrally better visually and functionally in round or even länglicherer form. Also other materials would (perhaps also aluminum) provides, or at least a better finish of a button wertigeren impression. The used depending on the function backlight button in colors red or green, I personally find visually concise / disruptive to the otherwise simple, elegant overall picture - a discreet light blue or white would have been my favorite.
Pressure points and size of the keys (including the side for camera / multitasking, volume, ON / OFF) are top.
The phone also has a very compact design for a touch phone and is good at least for me in the hand.
Yet much more compact than the Samsung SGH-F480 and Nokia 5530. Beautifully easy, but not cheap effect.
The processing is in my case very well (except for the coating of the Home screen button) - clean edges, battery is stuck, no key rattles ...
Oh, the battery cover is not as expected from aluminum, special plastic. Certainly because of the receive / transmit power.
Touch, Menu & Display:
The screen is big enough for my taste, and responds with my fingers very precisely and quickly (even with cold fingers and surroundings!) - This also applies to the change of menu items - possibly large image files and the music browser need some more time to start or . the view.
The menu let the main menu also switches Horizontal / - succeeded (although this would be desirable for other menu items).
Toll would be the homescreen the Mögichkeit, completely hide the shortcuts for "Dialer, Contacts, SMS, menu" and set only discreet, transparent hotkey areas as in other phones - by the Home Screen also looks quite colorful and a bit messy (but safely a matter of taste). Also no Themes can be set / change, so that one is placed on a solid color / menu / icon design. As remedy would in my eyes by a firmware update desirable! The widgets are certain known and apparently expanded.
Also known as LG-novice you'll find yourself quickly cope - although often seem to me the menu items at SE, Nokia and Samsung something logical - probably matter of habit.
The display is bright, sharp, and at least now outside very easy to read during the winter months. Because "only" 262k colors partially "demolitions"
in shades of color / tone values on complex graphics or photos.
Acoustic, Battery & reception:
The acoustics is perfectly fine - interlocutor in landline sound clear, loud and clear (if somewhat technical) and also I has been well understood in fixed network side and the D network.
The reception I feel the D-network as well. Even in our office (often problematic) and in subway stations I have partly adequate reception - I know from other phones much worse.
Battery performance is less than a week after test also for my benefit ok and adequate for a touch Andy - I am certainly not a frequent callers, occasionally 3-5 SMS per day, half an hour of music. The power I find similar to a F480 or W890i.
Features:
I miss no UMTS, because I surf the web on mobile phone displays as to the idle emfpinde. Wi-Fi would be safe for the emergency toll - precisely because there are many free hotspots such as in Cologne.
The camera is really not good, but I use it a real Cam - but also understand that there are other claims, precisely because other phones offer mittleile excellent quality.
SMS / MMS, organizer features are sufficient for my purposes, and the MP3 player. I'm curious on the availability and price for the solar panel.
Conclusion:
All in all, in my view, a very successful phone for all those who privately use in the first ways (without the high-end demand for UMTS / WLAN / organizer functions) and a super compact touch phone with the basic functions "calls, SMS, music" Search.
Well made, reducing on telephone function, ecological thought very commendable!
As the price certainly falls in the coming days a good, simple, elegant alternative to the Samsung Star and Corby.
Perhaps there will soon be another version in black or anthracite with changeable themes? That would be great along with the solar panel.
