The picture quality is, as well as the noise, stunning. Bin neither layman nor professional, Scan since about 17 years and it since 5 with digicams, the Fuji is my third Digi. Had me first in the different modes "einknipsen" and try as my previous Cams only had a car mode. The pure automatic mode is in the S6500 is not the truth, but who wants to take pictures only in the pure automatic mode, is operated not work well with such a camera. It offers plenty of possibilities when it comes to photography, but with these options you have to first of all get acquainted.
So a tip: make one and the same image with all the settings, ie modes and commands you to the best that image with which mode, then compares the computer. After trial and error I'm on the mode P with ISO 100 color mode and come to "F-Chrome", is ideal for most situations, including night shots fold so good, but with tripod, otherwise there blurred images.
The noise in the low ISO range can easily keep up with cheap DSLRs and is so much better than most other Digis with 6MP. The mixture of Fuji, "little" pixels on a 1 / 1.7 Super CCD HR sensor goes on (most other manufacturers use in digicams a 1 / 2.5 sensor and then press (too) many MP plan). The current high "ISO values and megapixel hype" unfortunately drives many inexperienced poor cameras. The manual zoom provides not only DSLR feeling, but is thus quickly and also saves the battery. The display has a its Diameter (2.5 ") corresponding, outstanding resolution 230.000P. Have to Cam Hähnel Powerstation Ventra with 4x2500mA batteries (also here at Amazon) ordered, made with the first charging nearly 400 images, now with second charging far ca.470 images.
Negative only three things on the S6500 are struck me: 1. the camera displays the battery level just before the end, ie there is no permanent display in the display with respect to the battery, 2. the viewfinder triggers miserable on (115.000P) and is only to use in an emergency, 3.The thread for the tripod is made of plastic, although until now had no problems, but the metal would be more appropriate.
Considering the fact that the battery lasts super long, I usually just use the super display and rarely knipse with tripod, the negative points are comparably small.
Therefore, the full 5 stars!
