The big difference this Multicooker compared to its competitor the Cookeo is that no pressure cooked. It cooks maybe slower than Cookeo, but you can open the tank when you want to stir, add ingredients or adjust seasoning. Which is not possible in a pressurized system!
Small precaution: thoroughly clean the tank (it goes very well with dishwasher), the steam and the metal cap of the cover after EVERY use ... otherwise your next dish will have the same odor as before. Not very troublesome in the case of a cooked, much more if it is a dessert! If you have a really stubborn odor (which can happen after cooking cabbage), in this case after washing the tank and elements, pour 50 ounces of water in the tank, add the juice half a lemon and use the "boil" for 10 to 15 minutes (with the lid closed course).
In the positives
- The keep warm function to keep the food temperature before passing to table, which can be automatically activated after cooking a dish.
- The delayed start allows you to program the time at which you want the dish is ready. Very practical in heating mode.
- 3D heating system which distributes the heat over the entire surface of the vessel and not only on the bottom.
- Its small footprint.
In the bad:
- Opening system very badly designed, when we open the Multicooker, steam that has accumulated on the inside of the lid falls on its side in a difficult place to clean.
- The manual is a bit thick and deserves to be revisited.
- The cookbook is very average and seems to have been done to the economy ... blurry photos, ultra basic setting page, recipes that should be fleshed out a bit more (we honestly feel they have recovered a bit slapdash on the Internet.
- The absence of a power button on / off is visibly absent only for reasons of economies ...
