From the AEG kettle from the premium 7 LineSeries I expected more. The unit is about 25 cm high with base. The lid is opened Mittes of built into the handle knob, lock up, stops and locks securely again. So far so good! Unfortunately, the filling hole measuring just 9 x 9 cm. That bothers me, because only a small opening is there if you want to remove residue after decalcification with a brush. The water level indicator is covered by the handle when you're getting the water. When empty, the container has a weight of 910 grams. With 1.7 liter capacity so still acceptable.
Compared to my old kettle from Severin with 1.5 L, the cooking time is actually reduced somewhat, for the AEG is also much louder. In addition, the device wobbles, probably by the height, quite strong once the water starts to boil. Practically, turn the Kalksieb.
Overall, the value for money in my opinion is wrong here.
