Unfortunately disappointed me the Denon across the board. The tone is dark and subdued, the subwoofer plays imprecise and vague. Toto's Hold the Line is tired and bored therefore, Marvel Avengers on BluRay acts powerless. The subwoofer looks overwhelmed without reserves. As a comparison, I have a Sony Soundbar heard the HT-CT770. It may be that this is the first choice for music enjoyment is not, but movies will bring you crisp and over is more than just an appreciation of the TV speakers.
Additional pet peeve is that if you turn off the soundbar to standby and they turns back, the wireless connection has been broken to the subwoofer. It only helps to make both energized, wait briefly, and then turn on Soundbar to hang the subwoofer to the electrical outlet.
The two additional surround modes can not convince and also the lack of display prevents feedback if one is where one wants to go there, too. While there are several flashes, but who wants to learn by heart.
The Bluetooth connection to a mobile phone works without problems. Another positive aspect is the included optical Toslink cable, but this is so delicately processed, that same fear has to break it. The Toslink cable from AmazonBasics series, however, is well protected and covered with a thick rubber cover. I recommend as an alternative.
It may be that the termination of the radio link is an isolated case, at least I've read about here anything yet, but by the disappointing sound I want no further to find out and take care of a replacement unit also.
