When the Count said this is his most personal, best and, indeed, the last album, he has set high expectations. Now that I've heard a few times intense, I can say for myself: Gipfelstürmer is a great work, which follows on seamlessly from Grosse Freiheit. It marked a degree, the Count can be justifiably proud. Intro and outro form as usual the frame and are accustomed to the highest standards. Like many fans I have also asked myself CDs together, which consist only of Unholy instrumentals. The Count has just it. It's fun, ever deeper into the music heard in and again to discover new, sometimes familiar, like a red thread through the years. The ballads have captured my heart immediately. Between light and shadow friend has arisen for a (recently) deceased. The pain is palpable, not to have been because the desire and also the regret. A point of many that explains the departure from Unholy. We must not allow a loved ones simply slip away just because you yourself are too distracted by only seemingly important. The song contains an impressive picture: First draw birds peacefully in formation across the sky. Later, people are peaceful in formation and look, probably from the grave of the deceased out of his soul by that rises. One suspects that the birds hovered over this funeral scene, observed by the people who are left behind. Fortunately for life sets a counterpoint: here life is celebrated. That one should live in the moment, one hears so often. If you were once faced with the fact that life is actually finite, we can understand perhaps only what this saying really means. It agrees one hundred percent. Everything has its time drives me due to its beauty, melancholy and absolute defiance brought tears to his eyes. Because here promise parents a seriously ill child that everything will be fine again. They promise him, in the truest sense of the word, the moon, and thus comfort not only the child, but also themselves. Meinberg is perhaps the most honest song that has ever been written The Count. No longer encrypted as in reflection he dares to talk about his greatest fear he had as a child. So clearly pronounce words, takes courage. To stand by his feelings, takes courage. The picture of your own mountain, everyone just can conquer himself, and the beautiful melody remain sticking in the heart and brain. In Held for one day wants the Count, to be exactly. Selflessly for others to act, fear not back down. Surely a utopia, but a nice. Without ideals it does not go without them we'd all still perching on the trees. Some call his messages simple and forgetting that it is sometimes just as easy. Just do not ramble complicated, and the world is a little bit better. Walk in the Clouds is again such a wonderful song; sung to those who are no longer directly and yet somehow constantly with us. A gorgeous melody again. What can you do there are just hammer melodies that are there flowed from his heart. Who writes these songs, appears vulnerable. He does so even vulnerable. There will be plenty of alls and cynics who do not understand or can, what is the quality of Unheilig. You would have to first open their hearts. They had to have feelings, to show themselves vulnerable. And it is confusing that the same Count also may be quite different. Kracher or Baller castles, like the Count calls, put pretty accents and going pop. All with a wink, of course, he will remain here the lovable guy. But who can really rock out. He also has the voice for it. Dropping down to one is a blast, gold rush, we are the trailblazer. What are here not again parallels to Rammstein effort by some critics. Just because the guitar storms and the voice finally roars beautiful dark again. As if that were allowed to make only Rammstein. As if were not always elements of rock music by other taken, used and further developed. Time to go is dedicated to the fans, and deliberately not arranged as a sad ballad. The count is not sad that he is going; he wants it that way. With this song I still do me a little hard, not because of the subject. Farewell I have now understood and processed for me. Mir is the text here a little flat, many lined-up phrases that are perhaps comforting. Just as with the wisdom of life led by the Count to the extreme and actually only proverbs classified together. The idea is original and amusing. Sing at the concert is guaranteed. I'm missing a touch of irony in the chorus, because actually they laughed wobbles but only the eyes when you hear such sayings. That's like Grandpa tells about the war. Only that Grandpa is only mid-40s here. But the other songs do these two for me more than offset weaker. As in the good old days digs catchy and there will not back out. Also Echo and hand in hand with bribe their catchy. I'm glad to go hand in hand, no sad song is the final, but a hopeful. After all, the Unholy music will accompany me to catch and keep, even if the road will soon be history. For me, the more beautiful farewell song. The album is me already very, very much. It builds on the best traditions of the Unholy. Only a not. I had hoped to find in the last unholy work at least one song that strikes more critical tones, as in The Crucible, The sky above me how many years, The Beast and the last time perhaps at home star was the case. What you miss, and this opportunity is now wasted forever. I still hope that Gipfelstürmer again be a great success. The album would have more than deserved. It is in its entirety by far the best, what can be found on the German market. This tone will be missed in the future. It was a wonderful time. Thank Unholy! Thanks, Earl!
