Looking for a mechanical keyboard without numeric keypad I found after a long search on the name LIONCAST. This company I knew not before. You can find most of the top-selling ranks only Razer, Logitech and SteelSeries, at least as regards the gaming.
After the positive reviews here on Amazon, I have it once dared me and ordered this keyboard with Cherry MX Black switches. There is also the keyboard with blue switches, but they are to me just way too loud!
The keyboard is nice and small, but weighs a lot and is through the rubber feet correspondingly stable on the desk. This is ever beautiful. The palm rest is very soft and very pleasant to write and play. In general, the processing is impeccable, nothing rattles and everything is where it belongs. No unnecessary frills, as it is known from other manufacturers. I do not need "UFO" design with a keyboard, from the age I'm out.
The black switch has no tactile feedback, which means it can be similarly pressing like normal rubber mats keyboards, only much softer and with more counter-pressure. That is an accidental pressing is virtually impossible. I like this very switch, much better than the clunky and loud blue switch. But that is an absolute matter of taste, the best you tried the switch somewhere try.
In addition to the function keys for volume and Multimedia the WASD and arrow keys are illuminated in blue. The brightness can be set at different levels. In addition, will be 4 blue buttons, which can be installed instead of the WASD or arrow keys, so you can find these keys even faster.
The connecting cable is sufficiently long and of good quality.
The company Lioncast makes a very positive impression on me and I'm very satisfied with the supplied keyboard. Too bad that I have not before experienced by this company. I would recommend the keyboard without restriction!
