It is small and light.
The build quality does not suffer from particular reproach.
They even thought to put a small tab on the front to prevent the screen from touching the surface if we were to ask the face against the ground.
I can not recommend enough still to affix a small protective film.
For precisely this screen, though small is correct resolution and color!
The back and bottom edge is covered with a sort of protective rubber to prevent damage (so no need to add yet another protective cover.
The buttons are "fused" in the mass, even if it is not resistant to measures "underwater" he can certainly do it in a few drops of rain (attention to the battery compartment that is not of all protected).
Ergonomics *** ***
At power unremarkable everything falls "naturally" under the finger.
Telemetry is simply indicate if one takes into account the length of the apparatus in the calculation.
Accurate to approx. +/- 2mm which will suit many.
It automatically calculates the volumes by taking the steps (but not for "quirky" rooms, just those at right angles like "square" and other "rectangles")
It can be used without being paired with a smartphone.
*** With Smartphone (tested on Android with LG G2) ***
Just flash the QR code in the manual for that automatically downloads it the right Bosch application.
It initiates Bluetooth and voila.
No difficulty at this level.
Then it's a breeze ...
It takes a picture of the part to be measured.
We draw a "line" with his finger on the screen to indicate the height / depth / length etc.
Then we take the measure with the rangefinder and there oh! Magic! The measure appears on the screen.
You can edit / delete at will or all of the information recorded.
The suite is even more interesting because you only share this photo with this application.
Therefore it converted to PDF and she gets an attachment in an email or other.
So nothing to do!
Perfect for taking measurements in situ, without paper and pencil.
Hat for this app that does me no problem.
In short an inexpensive rangefinder (100) but it does the job (and rather good) with a small plus for its useful junction with a smartphone.
