The decision was made immediately to the Canon. Since the Canon at Amazon was not available (yet), I had to wait for about 2 weeks. War determined the first :-), which

Order of my installation:
Unwrapped, connected power cables, cables for the phone plugged in, turned, loaded cartridges, set everything on the menu!
The printheads alignment is here already automatically when you first turn! It will also keep the number of minutes indicated that the procedures
are required! (For example: "align printing heads 4 minutes"!)
Thus far had gone about 15 minutes!
Then on the PC CD thanks to the installation wizard installs -Fertig-!
So overall for jacking up about 25 minutes, connect, adjust, install! Ready to use! Of course, everything goes over WiFi!
The initial installation is really foolproof! The manual was only 1 time used for the fax function, the rest is self-explanatory!
I even have an iPhone app which I can print directly on my printer photos! Without settings, etc.!
Simply pull down the App Store, the free app and you're done! The MX885 is sought and found in the background!
I had the problem that I had wireless 802 router with "only" a number assigned to a Vodafone live!
According to Vodafone of Anschlus a fax when it is not possible "only" a number.
But I really wanted to use the fax function! Finally, it was an important purchase criterion!
For that I would need 4 / month more prints at Vodafone, said the customer service, there would be a number 2 for example fax machines.
But I did not! I wanted to use my "only" number for both phone calls and faxes!
Advantage MX885:
It has an integrated switch! That is: Connect the phone to the MX885! MX885 then connect to the Vodafone 802 or other router / splitter! Finished!
Works perfectly! Once a call is received, the printer will decide what to do with the call! Eben fax or phone!
Other significant points:
The picture quality is definitely an objective to increase my previous MP540! Although the MP540er was the blockbuster already!
What strikes me substantially:
Very quiet and above all fast! I was surprised!
The printer does not or hardly moves when pressure! In accordance with the horizontal track curve force of the toner that horizontal force is never completely canceled!
With no technology in the world :-)! So here's absolutely green light! (Do not worry! The desk moves definitely not!)
What is also amazing is the fact that only the buttons light up, you CAN use!
Real helpful when you quickly want to copy, then fax quickly and afterwards again want to scan something!

Buy and a very long time have fun with it!
