I bought this screen protector after a long study of the relevant discussion forums and reviews for the Sony Alpha 77-II.
General: To clean up times with some often read statements:
The glass fits into the size perfectly even to the Alpha 77 II. The folding function is not impaired. Even if you put the glass in the new state with two protectors behind the folded display, it can be concluded yet and locks correctly.
At least on my copy is only printed on the lower right edge of "a77". The recognized on the image to Scripture "for digital camera" does not exist. And that is ever a major criticism dispelled. That is not "Sony" is printed on the glass, clearly License Legal Reasons. Sony will issue third party here not released. All those who use this Schrftzüge yet their foreign products illegally must expect legal consequences. and this is true in Europe, incidentally, also for the buyer / owner! Okay so .... :-)
The size of the transparent glass in the center fits perfectly with the display. It is not know how to read every now and then, a part of the effective display area covered. at least not with me.
Positive points: - Perfect protective packaging - Good guide, even if only in English - Containing cleansing wipe - Easier installation than traditional soft screen films. - Very precise fit - Appealing because unobtrusive appearance
Neutral points: I was a little surprised that the glass is not only the original display glass but also a part of the plastic frame with cover. So far, but I could still see no disadvantage thereby. It can thus also collect dust in the narrow gap between Dsplay and frame ... Protection can not be assessed ... time will tell.
Negative points: None noticed.
In any case, the product is worth a strong buy recommendation!
