Our cat has a wound on his chest, which he bite repeatedly. So a collar made sense and we did not want the rigid Plastikkrägen but something with more comfort. This Collar appeared suitable, even though I was suspicious whether the inflatable inner part can withstand Cat's claw. Another customer had already written that his cat had worked up the collar after two days. I have the collar still ordered because the provider writes "for small dogs and big cats" and so I expect that the sheath is resistant to Cat's claw. With Kevlar can be produced bulletproof vests, then Cat's claw should still be no challenge. The collar is also not exactly cheap. Not even close. It made our hangovers cost five minutes and then we found the collar on the ground, the air had escaped and there was a hole in the inner part. For dogs with their blunt claws that part may well be appropriate, but cat owners, I can only advise against the purchase. The thing is no challenge for this species.
