The regular use for a year now has left the pitcher no visible signs of wear, only the screen is darkened. I particularly like the easy cleaning; after the removal of the sentence I divide the pot and pack all parts in the dishwasher. Again, the screen is an exception because it captures dirt in the machine. The glass jug can be removed with a little pressure of the thumb well on the can bottom, but is sufficiently held by the frame such that it can not slip out of itself. The under scheided this model pleasant of my other two Bodums; the small "Chambord" can slip the jug with sufficient inclination, the great "Kenya" puts the jug, however reluctantly out. The "Kenya" (8 cups) has incidentally exactly the same diameter, so you can also replace the sieve including holders among pitchers.
The pot has a camping trip through with me sometimes. They can by the simple and rapid preparation points. The coffee tastes still much better than from my Bialetti.
