In size it is between a Logitech M305 and a desktop mouse. She has the full width of a desktop mouse and a high "hump". I use it full time on my laptop in the office.
Unfortunately, the mouse does not work on many surfaces! These include the "usual suspects": glass and wood or wood decor but depending on the pattern and / or surface and some mouse pads and tear-table pads with calendar imprint (ie paper with small print on it) (!).
Directly on my office desk (old gray desk with melamine) and on my old Gamer Mouse Pad it works perfectly well on textile mouse pads. The surfaces have a structured but apparently be quite dull, just like in the early days of optical mice. It is an invisible LED Camera team used (infrared?).
The wheel has significant notches running, quiet and feels "juicy", which I like. Special functions, there is no, therefore no driver is necessary. The mouse buttons click loudly, but not too loud. Especially nothing creaks.
For the recipient, there are on the bottom an externally accessible slot, also there is a on / off switch. The decor is stuck as a foil to the cover, which is dangerous if it breaks down the mouse, but otherwise do not bother. The lower part of the housing feels soft rubberized, but without being tacky (I just had to buy when I have taken the first time in the hand).
The mouse works with one or two AA batteries. With two he is pleasantly heavy. The housing consists of two parts, which are clicked to change the battery apart.
As a gimmick, the receiver operates in the 5 GHz range, I would have never been the victim of a disturbance in the 2.4GHz range. There is no harm anyway.
