I thought: Finally a successful, practical product. Compact and clever. Well unfortunately the already described by other problems with me have confirmed: Radio reception is definitely deteriorated (BMW 3 Series E46 NaviPro). But drops to only when the transmitter is weaker. No noise or anything, just poorer reception (Is seen me technically a mystery, have placed sometimes ferrite cores (The thick parts on some cables just before the connector) around the cable, to no avail). One gets the impression that the radio antenna would suddenly less ... The effect also rode only when iPhone is connected (3G in my case) on. Whether other devices also cause interference, I could not even try. So may be due to the combination. But the device is indeed explicitly advertised for the iPhone. Add to this that the contact in the cigarette lighter does not work well. One must often shake once or press. I suspect the resilient center contact includes not strong enough. Since cigarette lighter sockets are like oxidized Below (Previous owner probably true occasional smoking), can be due. But I think something like that should even without Einstz of sandpaper and / or contact spray work (the lighter goes also). My former Belkin Adapter for iPod (which has just not loads the iPhone) worked flawlessly in any case ... Too bad, good product idea (desirable would be an audio-branch of the cable), but poorly implemented. For the price, the conversion effort is not worthwhile, and I use it for emergency charge or alone the USB cable into a matching black but is also already something; -) ...
