Device with weaknesses

Did the device now since November last year and wanted to now also times my experience to share with you. Since I react very sensitive to dry air I used for years for humidification devices. Unfortunately my Venta device broke down after about 15 years of intensive use, and thus had to be something new. Of course I had been thinking again a device in this class of Venta to buy (LW 24 Plus) but me the price had initially deterred. 179 euros to 140 euros of the Venta Beurers. The performance data given spoke first for the LW 110 because I also wanted to have upwards with my about 30 square meters large living room a little reserve.

After a relatively short time, I realized, however, that the performance of Beurers was unable to find the my old device. On cold days, in which I have a lot of heated, I needed about once a day to Luftwäscher completely filled with water again. Now the tank is enough for about the same amount of water from almost 2 days. My feeling and the hygrometer confirm this. Although the Beurer for 36 sqm rooms is designed seems the performance probably still be insufficient.
In what area I probably still am a bit spoiled comfort, I noticed from the water during the daily (two-day) charging. The Aquafresh of Beurer must be included with any new additions of water. This is certainly not too bad, but if you had previously been used for 15 years to do this only every 14 days, surely a small change. Would continue the Venta-hygiene agents to use the Beurer me was too risky, because I do not like the plastic with admixtures of another manufacturer to react.

The procurement of the Aquafresh turned out to be harder than it needs to be really. The funds can not be purchased separately as usual in a Media Markt or elsewhere, but must be ordered directly from Beurer. Another point where I'm probably a bit spoiled '
To take it directly ahead: I have the Beurer LW 110 for 2.5 months re-sold at a big auction house and bought a Venta LW 24 Plus. However, this also for the following reasons:
After about 2 months use the device began sporadically to no longer run though water was filled. Reason, the 4 contacts that are visible when one removes the upper part. If this is only a drop of water, the device must be repeatedly opened and closed, until it can be persuaded to resume his work.

When power consumption of course I was from my old device also nothing earth used and the whole thing was ostensibly for me also not a selection criterion for an air scrubber. The LW 110 is required at the highest level about as much power as my age (about 38 watts). For a heating season (4 to 4.5 months) equivalent to approximately 24 Euro at 20 cents per KW. My new Venta equipment needed here now but only 8 watts !! This corresponds to the above-mentioned period only about 4.50 to 5 euros.

The higher price of the Venta, this makes up quite quickly by its frugality. Even my hygrometer in the living room is now back to the usual values.
