Be that as it may, in 1998 appeared the legitimate successor of * * Divine Intervention by almost wearing Title * Diabolus In Musica *. On closer inspection, however, the title erpuppte rather than blatantly as truly be particularly diabolical. There are decent thrash food, lots of Hau-top-Mucke, but the class of the predecessor can unfortunately be reached at any time.
While the disk is not bad, but Slayer was the ever more convincing. Somehow I had (purely subjective) the strange feeling that this escapade with * * undisputed attitude had not necessarily had a positive effect on the songwriting. But never mind, in between the disc is completely okay, especially if you can fall back on the double-CD version that contains a good handful of live-rehearsed classics.
CONCLUSIONS: not bad, but certainly not the best Slayer-disc ...
