After I tried the Canon Digital Ixus 90IS, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS6 and the Fujifilm FinePix F100fd, the F200EXR really could inspire me only. I use outside and often also inside the "simple plan holding-and-shoot" mode (AUTO mode) with the ISO set to Auto (400), picture size only 6 megapixels (M 4: 3), image quality Fine, Standard color setting Provia and flash turned off. For shooting wriggling children indoors under less than optimal lighting conditions I have has the M-Mode with ISO 200, White Balance and the flash. The EXR Auto mode I use with fast-moving subjects, such as a carousel at the fair. Even lightning loose shooting in dark churches at ISO 1600 are in size 11x15 on photographic paper developed by impressive quality. The sharp, high-contrast and detailed images of this highly responsive camera make me as good as ever satisfied. Build quality is excellent, the operation very logical and therefore easy. Cons: Videos are only of moderate quality and battery performance could be better. Since I only take pictures and got myself a second original battery, do not bother me, these two points.
