To remain objective, the graphics are still very well kept and it is far graphics of his little brother dating there 8 years ago and which, of course, the technical capabilities of our old towers were equivalent not one today.
But everyone knows that to make a good game, and this is even more true for a game "realistic and historic" as mafia, we need a good script. Suffice to say that it is ca vraimement which disappointed me and that impacted the full potential would have been able to offer the game.
The story is not very well put together, and those from the introduction phase. The lack of detail is sorely needed and adds to the appearance of multiple characters has finally no longer know for whom we work.
Fortunately, I made a small card with the name of the characters and their activities and relationships with family (Clemente / Falcone / Vinci)
What about the Map, yet so well done, and we are exploring barely 40% through 14 missions of the game. The first missions are confined to Little Italy and the rest of them are worth visiting us each 10 other regions.
I do not remember going through Millville South in any of the missions! Worse, how many ways "off road" are forgotten when they could have been operated in addition to the few chases between mobsters that offers the game! A mess so.
I can not help but appeal to my good old mafia I remember that offered a great history and held far from imaginable in advance, so, suspense. The 20 missions proposed exploring the entire Map and more, since some of the missions were outside the visible card and even we took the train ...
Tommy, Paulie, Frank, Vincenzo, Lukas and so on are only memories; certainly very good; and for good reason: More no relation between the two games both in history and in the realization.
This game seems unfinished if not sloppy. Despite long last mission of the game, finding the video is too short and leaves as a nostalgic taste-back when we remember the 10 minutes of video sequences which have concluded was entitled in Mafia I.
No doubt that the pressure of productivity was right in that game.
A very big disappointment, so. Maybe a game to never start referring to gamers who expect a sequel worthy of the name of the first Mafia. So that little wink of the penultimate mission will not suffice me to make me regain the joys of there 8 years.
