The negatives of DT84:
- Can not play an old recording while you record. Yet this was possible on the DT83, and more Alitech 3801 chipset enables the product because of other brands is possible.
- We can do that programming against 8 16 of the other products equipped with the same chipset alitech 3801.
- No recording mode business days from Monday to Friday, which is present on other products equipped with the same chipset alitech 3801.
- No timeshift in manual mode, only the automatic mode.
- Registration Files fractionated every 1 GO GO against four on other products equipped with the same chipset Alitech 3801.
- No hot key to access the list of recordings. On the DT83, there was one, it looks like Sagemcom wanted to save money
- No direct key to the programming.
- You can not make a program while recording or during playback of a recording
- You can not adjust manually or semi automatic mode hour, it's stupid that we can not set the time manually because if the broadcaster more diffuse now, the settings do not work anymore !!! !
- You can not sort the channels in the order you want.
- When a hard drive has multiple partitions, you can not choose the one that will receive the records.
- A non-ergonomic remote control, it is directive, the DT83 was much better.
- Case all plastic, one of the DT83 which was sold the same rate was metal. Plastic is not as good as it protects less against interference.
The DT83 was much better although it was not perfect either. Sagemcom disappoints me more and more. Hopefully they soon shoot an update to correct these negative points. :(
