Well, how many stars to place here? 1 star, because the lens is not doing what it should in the first place, namely depict sharp? 2 stars, because it at least up to about 50 m sharply defined? 3 stars because the imaging performance in the 20 m range is really neat? 4 stars because it is perhaps only a Monday device and 80 euros a very good price / performance ratio could actually at KP, if it could be because focus over the entire region? That everyone may judge themselves, I have (bad compromise?) Opted for two stars.
Furthermore, the description is true not only in the Nikon D40 - D100 no exposure in the camera is possible, also the 5200 refusing to allow auto or manual measurement. That's what I would have overlooked, because in D cameras and RAW format that is the least of our problems.
Because of the impossibility of sharply observed beyond 50 m, the lens is (unfortunately) back.
