As already had other times perceived problems with a dark screen, I'd write a commentary on it, so that the notebook is not sent needlessly back: The Asus Zenbooks have an ambient light sensor, on which the display brightness is controlled in order to reduce energy consumption. For my taste, the display with this setting, however, is too dark. Can disable the function - Use the key combination: Fn + A - Windows Eight: Charms Bar -> Settings -> Change PC Settings -> PC and devices -> Power Switch and energy saving -> Adjust screen brightness automatically -> Off (Jaja, Windows eight is really a joke number)
Otherwise, the notebook is super processed and fun. The hard drive is a bit slow, but that's the consequence, if you have enough money for a SSD.
