We already had a steam generator iron from Tefal - against the Russell steam generator is optically ever quite cheap therefore. He looks simply not high, which could have been much nicer and better solve. Well, if it would have through a stunning range of features, the look would probably rather not matter to me - but to want to leave the functions left ...
What I really lack this steam iron that OptimalTemp function (which our Tefal GC8620 / 02 steam iron station then had). This feature allows the Preparing your laundry does not apply because the iron presetting a temperature that is suitable for all types of fabric and it works really amazingly good. The Russell Hobbs Steam Generator has this function NOT. Here I would rather invest in a model that has this function - because if you have time, you will love them. When Russell Hobbs 20330-56 Easy steam generator so you have to adjust the temperature themselves and should therefore possible start with the things that should be ironed at a low temperature (because the heating lasts shorter than the cooling). This means sort laundry - and thus no time savings. Too bad!
Especially deterred me was the fact that the Russell Hobbs device has an anti-scale cartridge that must be austaschen already after about 10 hours of use! Russell Hobbs assumes that you use the unit for about 2 hrs. Per week, and then after about 4-6 weeks must change the cartridge. This cartridge costs about 10. I think that's pretty steep - after all, there are also devices where you do not have such costs.
Overall, I can forgive only scarce three stars because yes ironing principle works well - but the functions can actually be desired. I hope Russell Hobbs works here Subsequent models on improvements.
