We have an old cellar of quarried stone, repeatedly seep through the humidity, even after sealing the joints ever there was a humidity of 90-95%. Less than two hours in use fell in value to 70%, however, had very often the water tank to be emptied. I recommend anyone who wants to permanently dehumidify a room, the installation of the drain hose and a connection to a drain.
A few tips I'd like to recommend to other potential customers:
- The unit can stand for 24 hours at the site and then turn only. I have noticed it, and the compressor purrs softly, like a kitten
- If the water tank is full, pull it out a bit and push the float gently down, then the container without can snag easily be removed
- When operating the device vibrates. If there is hum, uncouple the unit through a soft surface, or small objects from the environment to remove (I had a box of screws rather rushed off their feet, standing behind it ...)
- If the container is removed for emptying, the best place a rag in the niche of the water tank. Even if it's from, like a few drops run again after that can end up in the unit or floor else
Would I buy it again? Every time! If it still would be a smaller version for the bathroom, I would be completely happy.
