Although I wanted to have this receiver originally, I have come to guarantee the Denon AVR1612 due to the difference in price of 60 Euro and the extra year. However, this had the problem in dynamic, louder scenes simply no longer intelligible audible voices were (too quiet) after calibration. Since a replacement unit brought no remedy, I am (also have been my first choice which) to the Yamaha swept back. This was after calibration also the same problem, but I could not with the level settings all shortcomings rebalancing (a feature which the Denon does not provide). Cross I have to admit that the sound in direct comparison to those of the Denon has been unsuccessful, however. The surround sound effect is not so 'middle' and is for me a little colorless. Because of all the settings you can of course bring back a lot out there and comes to the tone values of the Denon, but a lot of manual work to be reingesteckt here. Just measuring and enjoy is not recommended here. However, it may also be that this is attributable to the fact that my living room offers a non-optimal cut, or that the Denon can calibrate six different positions (instead of one). The bottom line is, I now have to adjust after several hours, try and adjust discard say that the system, when it is adjusted once a super sound and offers me the joys brought back at the movie theater experience. It is a work that pays and who does not shy away in front of it, which was the Yamaha RX-V471 much to heart definitely.
