I sail mainly on OSX, but also on Windows 7 (x86), both systems recognize, read and ride the connected drives. So far so good (I have not had the opportunity to test Windows 8, either x86 or x64).
I turn on multiple hard disks of different capacities, from 1 to 3TB. I have another dock from which I have them all formatted. Important detail, all my discs contain only one partition each, corresponding to the total capacity of each disk. My drive 3TB therefore mounted a 3TB partition (which contains 1,88To data).
But with the Heden station when I plug in my 3TB disk, not a disk and a partition to be read by my computer (whatever the system). These are two discs, the first 2.2 and the second 0.8 TB. The first drive fails to mount partition (normal I guess it must be my original score 3TB). The second disc is mounted in a partition of about 800GB, space accessible to him (and empty). As for the data on the original score, they are inaccessible from this station.
In summary, this resort is obviously unable to read discs (or partitions?) Whose capacity exceeds 2,2To. This can be disabling if it is intended for example to transfer data between two 3TB drives each. However, this is a personal conclusion and it certainly has a technical explanation for all this, but I'm far from an expert in the field.
Either two conclusions:
- If you want to play back the hard drives capacity is 2TB or less, it is a product quite correct;
- However, if you want to have to read the hard disk capacity exceeds 2TB, find something else!

Some material difficulties ultimately the USB cable has problems connecting the side of the plug A (the one that connects to the computer) when the cable moves a little (and it really does not take much), the connection jumps and I get an error message that the disk was not ejected properly the kind of thing that in the middle of a transfer gate you (the) score (s)
