Don McCullin photography war, poverty, the working world in great pictures in black & white. Indispensable.

Don (ald) McCullin, British photographer was born in 1935 many wars, and fellow French competitor Gilles Caron (disappeared in Cambodia in 1970). His work, especially in black & white is a poignant testimony primarily on wars (Vietnam, Cambodia, Biafra, former Belgian Congo, Bangladesh, Londonderry ...), the English working class and poverty.

The images of this great world famous war photographer are of a rare intensity. The cover photo shows a US soldier in shock after suffering an intense artillery bombardment during the Battle of Hue in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive in 1968. The pictures are often very hard and was often McCullin first line with the fighters.
