Having bought a laptop with Windows 7 64-bit, 2 USB3 ports and 2 USB ports (nothing to report, it works well), I connected the Rikiki. Any problems or anomalies for two weeks. Suddenly the disk is no longer recognized (it still is by all other PCs and iMac). The disk manager sees RAW but says while it is formatted NTFS. Could not reformat: Windows 7 reports "could not formatted the disk." It is even said write protected. All attempts to use diskpart command as failed.
In a last desperate attempt, complete rescue Rikiki under another NTFS formatted disk and complete (in a PC running Windows XP SP3). Everything works fine on PCs running Windows XP SP3 and iMac but still same problems with the PC in Windows 7.
Call to LaCie audience with a report full account: Response (1) with you tested all USB ports? (2) purchase the cable attached reference. Nothing else.
This is not worthy of the "best" hard drive manufacturer.
