Article condition in the package includes four rubber feet, four plastic pillars with a built-in bar for wiring, four tower speaker, a front speakers, a subwoofer, remote control, the Blu-ray 3D player and another (electricity-requiring) box that the combines two rear speakers wirelessly with the system and powered.
The structure is slightly out of hand, who has a PlayStation 3 or 4 at home, the menu will already know. On the first screen settings are quickly made. Whoever wants to can the beiliegenen directional microphone the speakers can be set automatically, but can be manually enter changes. The connections are by their color code (each cable has a differently colored end, which then belongs to the respective jack on the Blu-ray player or the distribution box).
Oh, again back to the beginning: The package is tidy large and heavy. A delivery to a packing station or a pick-up at a package store, I can not recommend.
Back to the Settings: The Blu-ray player is also quickly connected to the home Wi-Fi - a first update is already downloadable on the Sony website. (Another note: please search the Sony-page under "BDVN9200W", the second W in the article stands for the color (white), there is - unsurprisingly - a plant with B at the end (for black), however. you will find the detailed instructions in pdf. format or the update only if you enter the Product name correctly. If you can not connect to the Internet its Blu-ray player, or want, the update can also take on a USB flash drive and so the Blu-ray players provide you with the new data. (In previous models, updates were available exclusively via burned DVDs).
Speaking of Blu-ray players: Its cover slides to the right, so you can insert a Blu-ray. This has the charm of Star Wars power and acts quite chic.
Now the sound of the system. Has been tested in sound technology, among others, the current Star Trek 3D Blu-ray, Michael Jackson's Moonwalker Blu-ray, Carrie-Blu-ray and Super Audio CDs of "The Rolling Stones" and "Sam Cooke". And I must say: The sound is great. Each of the speakers sounds clear and the sound is perfectly again. A noise I could not perceive. Blu-rays can be played back in 3D and in 2D classic, DVDs will also play without any problems. Even a bootleg DVD that has spurned many a player that reads this player a perfectly.
Some criticisms I have yet found on the system: The housing of the subwoofer is made of white painted (or beklebtem) plywood - on the back you can see, however, the only very moderately painted tails of the side parts. In my case the subwoofer is not directly on the wall, so do not worry be "back" to me for raptures. In addition, for me personally, the bass is too thin. This has to be readjusted manually in any case (the db-strength had to be raised in my case, so that a round sound results for my ears).
Apart from this, the tower speaker but still a gimmick on board, irritert me until now has very delighted: they are lit up on the back, and radiate the respective main color of the film image on the wall. That makes then even for mood when right at the beginning of Carrie the living room is bathed in blood-red light, or when Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal clip the living room is illuminated in blue, as the club where the King of Pop in a white suit to a sensational dance attaches ...
Overall, I very good four star. The subwoofer should completely offer an impeccable vision - which it does in this set. Nevertheless, I am overall very excited (the system would select but rather in black).
