Customer Review

If after 28 years someone Multigenerational to the letze Eagle album reminds (last official album `79 Long Run) is probably quite on the high musical quality of the band and the always aufkochenden rumors, the band makes a new Album.1994 brought siemit a bang "Hell Freezes Over" out and fueled further the hope it may from time to time something new kommen.Dazwischen solo projects and in 2005 it is the Australian "Farwell Tour" of the Eagles fueled hopes once again, they may yet again into the studio go ...
and hard to believe, Christmas begins when Eagles publish the new album "Long Road out of Eden on the second of November. Rarely has an album made such a secretive as here.
1. "How Long", the first single title was written by JD Souther (already co-authored by example "Heartache Tonight" or "New Kid in Town") and was in 1972 on his album of the same name on it.
2. The title song "Long Road Out of Eden" could be the second "Hotel California".
3.Es contained 20 songs on the double album.
4.Spielzeit Album about 100 minutes
5.The Eagles have recorded the album in the occupation of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B.Schmit, besides as a studio musician with this:
Steuart Smith Guitar Keyboard Mandolin
Richard Davis Keyboards and Programming
Will Hollis Keyboards
Scott Crago Percussion & Drums
Chris Mostert / Greg Smith / Al Garth saxophone
Bill Armstrong Trumpet
Lenny Castro / Luis Conti Percussions
the boys were also invariably been on the "Farewell" tour in Australia here, so make a well-established homogeneous team.
6.The they have been covered a Paul Carrack song, I am pleased personally most (he was once a member of Eagles in conversation)

Disc One

1. "No More Walks in the Wood" (Don Henley, Steuart Smith, John Hollander) - 2:00 (Beautiful (almost) Acapella entry with subtle acoustic guitar as Crosby, Stills Nash & Young)
2. "How Long" (JD Souther) - 3:15 (If already up and down played, crisp rock goes without detours into the ear)
3. "Busy Being Fabulous" (Don Henley, Glenn Frey) - 4:20 (T he linedance number of Eagles, the refrain remains in the ear like it or not, may be the second hit)
4. "What Do I Do With My Heart" (Glenn Frey, Don Henley) - 3:54 (But plaguing someone in the world-and the pain of separation You suffer with him, hoping everything will be good!)
5. "Guilty of the Crime" (Frankie Miller, Jerry Lynn Williams) - 3:43 (Joe Walsh knödelt be prima decorated by the song with piano accompaniment schmissigem Honky Tonk and crisp guitar, goes well off)
6. "I Do not Want To Hear Any More" (Paul Carrack) - 4:21 (The Schleicher, well staged, just start a little dull, but increases Ohrwurmig, nice and easy to sing, lighters out!)
7. "Waiting in the Weeds" (Don Henley, Steuart Smith) - 7:46 (The Clandestine Pops, you have to listen several times, and gets man / woman is no longer out of the ear, very very horny hook.)
8. "No More Cloudy Days" (Glenn Frey) - 3:50 (Summer Light song, but nice bit of harmless, suitable for any sunset of their choice)
9. "Fast Company" (Don Henley, Glenn Frey) - 3:59 (Eagles discover Prince ... All I Wanna Do, is dance dance ..?!)
10. "Do Something" (Don Henley, Timothy B. Schmit, Steuart Smith) - 5:09 (Man sitting on the fence, straw in the mouth and looking at the cows graze to sync, and the sun sets on the horizon with a sigh)
11. "You Are Not Alone" (Glenn Frey) - 2:24 (light insignificant number, but the certainty is not to be alone reassuring)

Disc Two

1. "Long Road Out of Eden" (Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Timothy B. Schmit) - 10:17 (The gem of the album begins something mysterious, oriental, tends towards Hotel California, grandiose guitar solo by Joe Walsh with a lot bite and very suspicious cult implemented)
2. "I Dreamed There Was No War" (Glenn Frey) - 1:38 (guitar Cute little exercise to relax after "Long Road ..)
3. "Somebody" (Jack Tempchin, John Brannen) - 4:09 (The Eagles can still "rock" with a groovy rhythm, very cool guitars, beautiful organ swab in the background and polyphonic Gesang.Hitverdächtige number)
4. "Frail Grasp on the Big Picture" (Don Henley, Glenn Frey) - 5:46 (The grooved well off, relaxed guitar, good harmonies with catchy, Joe Walsh's guitar is the icing on the cake of the song)
5. "Last Good Time in Town" (Joe Walsh) - 7:07 (I boil the blood, Joe Walsh on Santana tracks with Latin rhythms and groovy groovy groovy..Life`s been good!)
6. "I Love To Watch A Woman Dance" (Larry John McNally) - 3:16 (Small musical tribute to women in and of itself, can never hurt ..)
7. "Business as Usual" (Don Henley, Steuart Smith) - 5:31 (Eagles too have a drum dabei..toll Catchy number, groovy rock and going into the ear, the drums driving the song soothing to.)
8. "Center of the Universe" (Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Steuart Smith) - (also not nice to hear Not the Center of the Universe The song, however, inconsequential nice without musical nutritional value?) 3:42
9. "It's Your World Now" (Glenn Frey, Jack Tempchin) - 4:22 (Aha, the three amigos, Steve Martin, Martin Short and Chevy Chase ride off into the sunset, or Wailing trumpets and marimbas in abundance, nice? Mexican breathed, adios muchachos ..

7 was produced the album by Bill Szymczyk, Eagles, Steuart Smith, Richard FW Davies.
8. Taken was all in "The Doghouse, Los Angeles and Samhain sound, Malibu between 2001 and 20o7
On balance, a good, Eagles plate, the expectations of the fans was great and they are not disappointed. Eagles turn out to be the master of timeless Country / Rock Musik.Und if everything goes quite stupid, grandchildren hand over us in the nursing home the next Eagles drive what we do not hope ...!
