Things I miss in the new 410 SONY HDR-PJ, or I did not like so well:
· Focus mode can not be set to spot focus
· Exposure not to Multi / Center / Spot adjustable
· No continuous shooting in photo mode
· No flash
· No saving the autofocus possible (AF LOCK)
· No Lock the exposure (AE LOCK)
· Housing materials are not only inexpensive and poorly finished, render also all sounds to the microphone
· No audio recorder function
· Icons and are displayed too small and barely visible in sunlight
· Strong noise in low light conditions. The designated function brightens the image, but does not reduce the image noise.
· No ISO setting possible. 'Thus, noise could be reduced.
Although · Files can be copied and viewed via USB, but it can not be deleted. To delete one must either move the camera itself or read the memory card directly to the PC and then delete them. I find that quite cumbersome. In USB port Why does not a full-fledged, but only a read-only data drive?
· Files are in MP4 format with only small amounts of data and thus recorded in low quality. MP4 is sort of simple and strong continue to be only an additional option for data compression.
· Main recording format is MP4 but not MTS high data rate (AVCHD or XAVC)
· Battery life is unfortunately not displayed in hours and minutes, but merely as imprecise battery indicator.
· The photo function I'd rather call with freeze function. A camera can not replace this camcorder anyway.
Positive noticed are me:
· Camera is very light and handy
· Image Stabilization works very well and prevent blurred images even when zooming
· Good zoom lens, macro function to 1cm and 26,8mm Wide
· Easy to use, if you do not want to intervene in the action. Automatic functions take over almost everything and thereby facilitate the success of the video.
· Zoom controller operates very sensitively
· Camera after opening the display immediately operational
· Good image quality. But sometimes there is a lack of color and depth of field.
· The projector works very well and transports the images in stunning quality and size of the wall.
Conclusion: A completely satisfactory functioning camera if you do not want to intervene as a cameraman in the processes.
Easy Recording with a button and the operator is not required of expertise. The disappointing for me is more of a problem individually. The desired of me functions are no longer available in the market in the price range. With SANYO gave for little money. Today you have to shell out for more than 1000,00 Euro and then the cameras are also still huge and hard ...
