It allows you to simultaneously connect two USB devices and load them safely. This charger is small in size and therefore can be taken anywhere n. It is quite nice as well.
The package includes 1 charger plug Europe + 1 manual in English and German. No French course, but the use is so obvious that it is not really necessary.
Technical side, I have done some simple tests.
When empty, it comes out 5.2 V which is perfect.
Jai also observed that 2 USB ports are not parallel but independent of the other moon, which means that if a device consumes much the start of charging, the other does not undergo voltage drop and load remains optimal. In other words, it comes true good of a charger 2 x 12 W or 2 x 2.4 A if you prefer. It's a good point.
Another good point, it is well protected against short circuits. If any of the USB cable is short circuit (which can happen), the charger switches to safety, no current nest maintained, the blue LED goes out. Once the faulty cable unplugged, the charger will restart automatically after 2 seconds in order to avoid unwanted rebounds.
Then i loaded together 2 large cigarette batteries completions empty and therefore with an almost maximum load current at the start of charging, the charger does not flinch, no noise "bzeeeee" style and it just warms. So he naura no harm to charge tablets, smartphones, Bluetooth headsets and mobile speakers and other ultra mobile devices.
Of course these little "home" tests are far BE exhaustive but Mount reassured about product quality and safety.
About security, DAfter the manufacturer, it is also protected in case of overheating and overload. It also has a automatic shutdown after charging.
Small feature of this charger, plug 2-pole male sector is retractable and reveals the charger socket a strangely resembling a classic hyper IEC socket type. It is easy to put between taking current and the wall charger cord that is easily lon (cord "radio" 2-pole) provided, however, spend a bit of a cutter between the two poles of the IEC plug cord denlever to 1 mm plastic, otherwise it not fit.
