Preliminary remarks: The lamp is not dimmable, LED lamps are permanently installed and not interchangeable and it produces light with a color temperature of 3000K. For the color temperature uninitiated: 3000K even one of "warm white" but from "cozy warm white 2700K =" but a long way away. For an evening on the couch, the light is therefore perhaps not quite optimal - too little yellowish and too much direction neutral white (and too bright for them would probably). This is of course a matter of taste. I use them in the kitchen and find there is the light color of 3000K absolutely perfect, just as I could imagine very well in corridors, the bathroom or a private office. With 1600 lumens (lt. Technical data) makes the light from 20W about as much as would create a 150-200W incandescent bulb.
Positive:
- Nice, modern, clean design.
- The lamp makes a very pleasant, very bright but still glare-free light.
- Light color corresponding to (the eye to, have no way to measure the professional) specified by the manufacturer 3000K and makes a very good impression without neutral "comic" color casts.
- With around 120 I would for what it offers in terms of light, design and processing as very favorable place this lamp.
- The LED modules are not interchangeable if they go so easily broken, the way in which they are mounted on the large metal bar but suggests an excellent heat dissipation, so I am assuming that the promised long service life can be maintained.
- There are LED modules built with very good efficiency, the specifications have to 88Lm / W include (but is probably in front of the transformer losses, as expected again at 10-20% efficiency lost)
Negatives:
- Quite a long delay! After switching on the current pass about 1.0 bis 1.2 seconds before the lamp is on. I find that a bit too much.
- Imprecision in production: Somehow it seems to me wrong minimal, as it now hangs from the ceiling. As if one of the two connectors between the transformer section and LED part looks not quite straight down.
- Imprecision in production: In the right mounting nut (attaching the glass on the LED carrier) I had to omit the envisaged washer, otherwise the screw was not long enough to screw the nut. Probably no bad consequences, but is of course not intended ...
Conclusion: I am very pleased with the lamp. With my small criticisms which production accuracy in terms I can live at any time, you can not see when they first suspended from the ceiling and is absolutely OK considering the price. Too bad I can only find further the long delay - which would technically definitely better - more than 1 second really should not be.
5 star - really 1/2 star deduction because of unnecessarily long delay, rounded up in view of the fair price but still 5 star :-)
