The TV came on Amazon and DHL within 1 day in Samsung original packaging. A true lightweight and not a problem for two heave him into the 2 floor of our house.
Unpacking and installation of the foot on the device without any problems. Ran's network and first to the cable connection.
The TV has greeted me friendly and logically guided through the installation menu. After about 3 minutes. Everything was set up and approximately 250 stations are stored via cable.
Transmitters can then easily retrieve individually or in blocks from the remote control.
The first HD channels, I then manually adjusted picture / sound etc. It's absolutely comfortable that adjustment of Samsung because everything has.
As a result I had in the HD mode, a "Knackescharfes image" with super Farbtemeparatur, without any interference, Clouding or whatever else was discussed here. Even the sound was more than satisfactory and surprised me very positively! (As compared, for example, to our great 42 "Philips PFL ...)
Of course, I then tried it myself, to sort the channels, or to remove excess. In this point, the manual and the web presence is absolutely deficient. Here I can, as already described by a reviewer who only confirm that it works on the Smart Hub button with gewisssen restrictions. In detail, I have not tried it yet because it certainly would be a time-filling action. It lends itself to but even the already mentioned - Samsung TV Channel Editor - in current version.
For me, the Probelematik is not necessarily because I have then switched in sequence on Freeview. In search it gift with an all-in-one antenna 40 stations, now not in HD quality, but because I have the sharpness then adjusted upward again, was subjectively little difference between a cable HD channels and a DVB for me -T SD channels recognizable.
What personally very disappointed me: the device is finally an EEK O device and does not even have a pure power switch? The rear switch only serves as a stand-by on / off switch and the short menu, probably if the FB times fails.
Summary & Evaluation:
++ Brilliant value for money
++ Crisp image in the cable-HD mode
++ Convincingly good sound
++ Many settings (image / sound etc ..)
++ Noble design & excellent workmanship
+ Good Freeview SD image
+ Many individual connections (which I do not, but all need)
- Bad transmitter sorting possibility on TV itself
- For improvement manual and web presence with regard to channel sorting, FAQ
- No power switch as a Class A model
Incidentally, I have seen on the Samsung side, which is a new operating system update. Whether thus the criticisms are resolved I can not say (yet).
If I know it is followed by a reviewer's update.
