I bought this card to take advantage of the USB 3 support that my external hard drive.
She filled his role well, and we see a net increase in throughput compared to a USB 2.0 connection.
The other side is nice finesse, you can leave it in the PC permanently.

For weak points:
Unable to connect two external hard disks at the same time on the map or they will not be recognized.
Also on my pc, the card easily removed when removing the USB cables connected to it, it's annoying but gently pulling the cables it passes.

For the price it's pretty good.
