What I regard as a beautiful album in my hands! Me personally speaks the simple but creative acting Style Work immediately and the first CD play my heart beat already higher!
Of course, this album is, like any other, not for everyone, but mine is the more for that! Since March / April 2007, has been going on in my CD player, and iPod on my PC and it just will not stop!
Nazanin is a very successful start to the album, quiet beginning, it increases slowly for the first small peak on the plate. Schlichter, simple and beautiful indie pop (Pop once not as negative-loaded Word). The Good Shoes show how relatively simple beautiful, do anything but boring music can! Great melodies, off the many strongly überhypten NME bands from UK, accompany, eg the decoration and beautify every day. Again and again a little surprise on, dancing stehts rhythmic and almost bounce and prompting it continues with pictures. Morden is particularly dear to me, a great piece about the home of the band. Just be aware, when traveling sing not too loud shout "murder", which could be misinterpreted. Anyway, do not be swayed and mithüpfen further and just plain happy. I could now enumerate each additional song and describe how great the one hand simple, yet always different, creative and wonderful it is. No matter what song you alluding when Vorabhöhren, it speaks (me anyway) immediately.
A wonderful album that the band not quite brought the expected success with it, despite mostly good reviews. Too bad the only also recommendable B-sides are not available on Amazon, on British sides can acquire this but.
In short, a great band and a great album that makes me one of the best albums of the year 2007. "I play in a band but I've got no talent" says "All in my Head". On this point I have the Good Shoes but then again contradict talent they have! So put the CD in and enjoy the atmosphere! Everything's missing for happiness, these sympathetic guys is to be seen live ..
