Had malfunctions on my connected device, then I measured the circuit and 8 volts measured voltage (even with 100mA load and more !!!). That's too much, 5 volts should be. An opening of the device showed that unlike other (cheap devices also) a Festpannungsregler was simply omitted. Even otherwise the electrical system looks übelst, so a dirty processed board I have not seen all my life. Such a thing should, in my opinion not to be sold. So who values quality and on his device, here should leave it alone.
PS: a second device also provided a large flow of voltage of 8 volts, also had the same processing and no voltage regulator, so it was not faulty electronics and a runaway, but only the usual bad from the first power supply quality.
Tip: 2 other Mumbi power supplies 5V and 500mA delivered exactly the specified value and were processed better by a mile, both also had the corresponding voltage regulator inside!
