Visually, the dock is a very good figure, the piano black finish looks really chic.
Functionality:
If you put your phone in the cradle, it charges while the sounds etc. which gives the mobile phone of himself,
output to the Line-Out output.
So you can hear the sound of the Xperia Play on his sound system and example. use it as a media player.
But that's at the same time my only negative point on the docking station:
You can not choose whether the sound should be etc. output to the Line-out or not.
When you put the phone into the docking station and you have just connected speakers to the Dockinstation,
or they are turned off, so you do not notice when eg. someone calls,
because the internal speaker of the cell phone off as soon as you put the Xperia Play in the docking station.
In principle, this is no fault of the docking station, but rather a software error,
there would be the option to output the sound from the internal speakers,
although a minijack connector is plugged in the phone, so the problem would be solved.
For this small defect, which is as I said on the phone itself,
I subtract a star because the docking station yes directly from Sony Ericsson comes
and who knew the situation safely.
Otherwise, however, the dock works as I said very good,
has a sophisticated and robust, so I give it 4/5 stars
and for all owners of Xperia Play a full purchase recommendation.
