I assign five stars (the maximum score) for the following reasons: - The reading is very enjoyable to read. - This is both a reading that reads like a novel but can also be used to bring to a historical argument. So this book is both a study of modern letter or history, or even the avid readers in the evidence. - It is a testimony (thus the past of an individual) which explains his experiences in a camp and how the prisoners are treated and himself (physical, verbal, psychological violence, conditions, detentions). He also explains how he has escaped, his journey, his feelings and resentments. Whereby it happened. - This also leads us to know the "politics" of the country. For it is a qualified dictatorial regime of "Stalinist model." - There are even some footer link the internet allowing us to go further on the life of a prisoner in North Korea. For example a link to see the "concentration camps".
That's all it is because that made me love this book. That I recommend to anyone who likes or is interested testimony has questions about how to live prisoners in North Korea or who want to learn a bit more about this country, which is considered the least open to the world.
