o Price / performance ratio
Image Quality:
Make -The 20.2 megapixels with the right lens very sharp photos and let in post plenty of room for cropping of motifs.
-The Noise performance is also a treat. You have to look carefully to find at ISO 1,600, a slight noise. If you are times forced to use ISO 25600 which is also not visible in small photographic print.
-The Dynamic range in RAW mode is also very good. When following-up on the PC thus creativity is given a lot of freedom.
Processing / Features:
-The Compact design like it very much. The camera fits comfortably in your hand and after some familiarization time you meet any button while looking through the viewfinder (eg: ISO button).
-The Lack of rotatable display can be replaced by the WLANFunktion. Thus, it will save you a wear part more to the camera.
-97% Viewfinder? Why do not they get here 100% as in the 5D MkIII I can not say. Only this: If I had not picked up somewhere, then it would probably never noticed me.
-Autofokus Is sufficient for my needs. Who much Sport- u. Action Photography operates is better served with the 5D MkIII. This also applies to the frames per second.
-The An SD memory slot can of course be equipped with SDXC cards.
-1 / 4000-30s can be adjusted during the exposure time. The bulb mode has its own slot.
Gimmicks:
-The WLAN function via smartphone, tablet, etc. work's play. I like to use this function to replace a folding displays or as a remote shutter release. At the beginning I felt this only as a gimmick but it offers unprecedented opportunities. Especially in situations where it is no longer possible to determine through the viewfinder or Live View image composition, may arise here a decisive advantage.
-The GPS function works without problems and is also sufficiently accurate. I use only on trips and unlock it also when the camera is not needed because it eats happens to electricity.
Price:
-The Camera happens to be designed for a different audience than the 5D MkIII, which I very much welcome. The nearly 1,000 difference can be rather stuck in a nice lens). While it has some losses against the 5D MkIII but also two nice players a, the WLAN function are now even photograph great for the creative. The price / performance ratio is therefore fair.
Conclusion: The perfect creative photograph full frame camera for beginners who love. For press and action photography is worth the investment for the 5D MkIII. I forgive this 5 star because this camera simply makes a lot of fun and perfect for my applications (image quality is crucial for me).
I hope I could help you with your decision. For questions and criticism, I'll try to answer them.
